“ Because Drinking Shouldn’t Be Chore”
— The Golden Thicket LLC

Why We Pour

‍ ‍We believe that enjoying an adult beverage shouldn't feel like a chore. You shouldn’t need a sophisticated palate or a manual on traditionalism just to enjoy a glass of something delicious. That’s why we do things differently at The Golden Thicket LLC. Every single bottle we pour is purposefully crafted using only vibrant, fresh fruits and raw, unpasteurized honey sourced straight from the heart of Minnesota.

We take immense pride in crafting specialty, dessert-like meads that are unapologetically rich, sweet, and bursting with real flavor. We design our recipes to evoke a specific feeling—the kind of comfort that makes you feel instantly warm, cozy, and right at home, no matter where you are.

For us, pouring a glass is about creating an accessible escape. Taking a moment to breath and slow down in this busy world. By not focusing on traditionalism we can instead focus on delivering rich sweet meads that aren’t a chore to drink . So, step away from the rules, forget the pretension, take a breath and enjoy a bottle of our sweet nectar straight from the golden thicket.

Fueling the Dream: Help Us Build The Thicket

The Golden Thicket LLC is a deeply personal dream born out of a desire to bring a smidge of whimsy and cozy escape back into our everyday world. To ensure complete creative freedom and stay true to this vision, our initial setup and brand development are entirely self-funded.

But turning an ambitious dream into a commercial reality takes time, resourcefulness, and a village. To help us bridge the gap between a passionate concept and a fully compliant boutique craft brand, we are opening up a space for our early community to join our journey.

If you would like to see this dream come to life sooner, any donations toward our initial startup costs would be most appreciated. Every dollar donated goes directly toward securing premium raw supplies—like raw Minnesota honey and fresh fruits—and navigating the specialized commercial licensing required to get our recipes to the bottling line. Your support directly funds the foundation we need to partner with regional producers and scale our recipes safely.

We believe in absolute transparency with the community that supports us. Below, you can find our planned timeline and milestones as we work toward our official launch. Thank you for helping us bring the magic of the golden thicket to life!

The Year Ahead

Winter 2026: Sourcing & Supplier Logistics

We are spending the colder months locking down our supply chains. This includes securing contracts for our core raw ingredients—sourcing massive drums of premium, raw Minnesota honey and fresh fruits to ensure the highest quality base for our recipes.

Spring 2027: Community Tastings & Letters of Interest (LOIs)

As the weather warms up, we are taking our recipes to local craft bottle shops, bars, and alcohol distributors. We will be hosting private gatherings to showcase our homebrew profiles, building relationships, and gathering non-binding Letters of Interest (LOIs) to secure our early retail footprints.

Summer 2027: Custom Crush Negotiations

With our supply lines and retail interest locked in, we will begin formal negotiations with regional wineries and meaderies. By utilizing custom crush manufacturing contracts, we can scale up from our small scale home brew operations to 50-gallon initial batches using professional, commercial production facilities without losing our boutique touch.

Fall 2027: The First Bottles Spin

The magic officially hits the production line. Our three pillar flavors—Golden Nectar, Cozy Crimson, and Amber Blush—will undergo their official commercial fermentation, aging, and bottling runs under strict TTB compliance.

Spring 2028: Open to Selling!

The wait is over. The Golden Thicket officially opens its digital doors. Our boutique craft meads will be legally available for purchase online and appearing on the shelves of your favorite local Minnesota distributors and bottle shops.
